Independent Schools Welcome new education minister

‘We know Mr Tehan as a strong advocate for Independent schools in his electorate,
and look forward to continuing discussions on the proposed new funding model for
non-government schools,’ Ms Green said.

‘We believe that with continued goodwill, the government can arrive at a system that
ensures fair treatment for all students, no matter which school they attend.

‘Critically, there must be no “special deals” favouring one sector over another.
