Independent Schools Welcome Dan Tehan’s Re-Appointment

Independent Schools Victoria (ISV) Chief Executive, Ms Michelle Green, today congratulated Mr Dan Tehan on his re-appointment as Federal Minister for Education.

‘Mr Tehan has established strong and cooperative relationships with all school sectors since he was first appointed to the education portfolio last August,’ Ms Green said.

‘We welcome the news that he will continue as Education Minister.

‘We look forward to working with him, his staff and with departmental officials on important issues facing not only Independent schools but education more broadly,’ she said.

‘That work includes continuing the detailed technical discussions currently underway on implementing fair, predictable and stable funding arrangements for non-government schools.’
