Constructive engagement continues on payroll tax reform and school sustainability

Thursday 14 May

INDEPENDENT Schools Victoria continues engaging constructively with the current State Government on the significant impact payroll tax is having on school affordability, investment and family choice across the Independent school sector.

We also welcome the Victorian Liberal and Nationals’ reaffirmed commitment in this week’s State Budget Reply to repeal payroll tax on schools should they form government.

Independent Schools Victoria continues to support our schools as they face ongoing economic uncertainty such as managing rising workforce, compliance and operational pressures while continuing to support families who choose an Independent school as the best fit for their child’s needs.

ISV continues to engage in ongoing constructive discussions with both sides of politics on measures that support sustainable, high-quality education across Victoria’s Independent schools.
