Independent Schools Victoria is launching a new cross-sectoral network.
The aim of this network is to provide stimulus, resources and an opportunity for rich conversation around how to build authentic engagement with data in schools.
Harnessing the daily action research that is happening in thousands of classrooms everyday, alongside the large data sets that enter a school, is a key focus for this network. Creating a culture of ‘teacher as expert’ using data stories that have credibility to the range of educators in schools is vital for a positive data culture. This network is to create collective wisdom, share successes and provide possible strategies for challenges for those working in this space on a daily basis.
The network meetings will take place once a term, and a range of guests will join us to share their own experiences from their work in schools.
