Project Wayfinder 2021

Inspiring students to live with purpose and belonging.

Independent Schools Victoria partners with Project Wayfinder to assist in creating lives of meaning and purpose for both students and educators.

Founded at Stanford University’s d.School, Project Wayfinder provides an innovative, student wellbeing curriculum using two toolkits:

  • Belonging (Years 7-9)
  • Purpose (Years 10-12)

The toolkits are inspired by cutting-edge academic research and draw on practices of traditional wayfinding navigation as a metaphor for stepping into life with purpose.

ISV delivers Project Wayfinder to schools across Australia.

Project Wayfinder in 2021

The Wayfinder journey is about encouraging students to take a step back and ask a simple yet profound question: What kind of life do I want to lead?

In a post-COVID world, this program will help to create lives of meaning, belonging and purpose for both students and educators.

In 2021, ISV will work with participating schools to implement the Project Wayfinder curricula across Australia and New Zealand. Opportunities to become a Project Wayfinder educator will be available throughout 2021.
