State Government Recurrent Grants
The State Grant is paid based on information provided by schools, including CSEF applications to the State Government and student numbers in the Australian Government’s August Census.
Yes, if your school is receiving a State Recurrent Grant.
A school signs a Funding and Service Agreement with the Victorian Government for Victorian Government funding.
Provide evidence of your school’s not-for-profit status.
Participate in an annual Victorian Government Department of Education and Training (Vic DET) census (conducted in February), along with any subsequent request to participate in an enrolment audit.
Provide financial reporting on receipt and use of the State Grant, including the provision of independently audited financial reports.
Demonstrate a focus on student outcomes, including a commitment to working towards achieving the Victorian Government’s goals and targets for education and participation in state-wide literacy and numeracy benchmark testing.
Meet the registration requirements for initial and on-going registration, including a demonstrated commitment to the provision of a curriculum that prepares students for participation in contemporary Australian society.
You may be asked to repay funds or the Minister may delay or deny the payment of future funding to the school.
